Not Your Typical Classes

It is that time of year again- time to register for the classes you will be taking next semester! Instead of the same classes everyone always takes, why not switch it up a little bit? Enroll in a class and learn something new!

Rock Climbing

In this eight week class, you will learn how to climb and belay, strengthen your muscles and better your balance. All with fun instructors, this is an outdoors class that you will look forward to attending.

Love to golf? Or just want to learn the basics? Satisfy both needs by enrolling in this class.

Cake Decorating

Children’s Literature

Love children and you love to read? Combine both interests and sign up for this 3 hour class.

Not too excited about a certain subject?

If you aren’t very excited about a certain subject that is required, sign up for the class with a fun teacher. It will make the class experience a lot more enjoyable. In the Chemistry department, Mr. Carlson is a great teacher who cares about his students and has a great sense of humor. In the English department, Mr. Nordman makes history come to life by dressing up to fit the part.

Talk to an advisor or past Butler students to be sure you find out what teacher will be the best fit for your learning style.

Talk to an advisor or browse through the course catalog. Butler offers something to please everyone! What classes are you in that you really enjoy?
