If you came into the Hubbard Center on St. Patrick’s Day, this is who you were welcomed by. And no, she’s not really a leprachaun, she’s a Butler student named Karly Long.
Karly is a sophomore here majoring in early childhood education. When she’s not at class though, most of the time you’ll find her in the Hubbard Center working. She is the information specialist and official greeter here. Right when you walk in the doors you’ll see her smiling face, and she’ll direct you wherever you need to go.
Karly is quite the character. You’ll always see her either smiling or laughing. This is a picture of Karly or “Grandma Karly” with Kori, and admissions ambassador, on Halloween this year.
Even when she’s not dressed up in a costume, Karly is an entertaining person to talk to. So when you’re waiting around to enroll for fall classes starting April 4th, be sure to meet Karly!
